Terms & Conditions

Live Streaming

1. Booking & Confirmation:
Live streaming services must be booked at least 7 days prior to the event. A 50% advance payment is required to confirm the booking.

2. Internet Requirements:
A stable internet connection (at least 20Mbps Upload Speed) must be available at the venue. Otherwise, Mobile Multi-network Bonding Router equipment can be rented from Rata Media for an additional fee.

3. Cancellations:
If the booking is cancelled less than 3 days prior to the event, the advance payment will not be refunded.

Radio Streaming

1. Copyright & Licensing:
It is the client's responsibility to obtain all necessary licenses (such as SLASPO, OSCA, etc.) for all broadcasted music and programs. Rata Media will not be held liable for any copyright issues.

2. Uptime & Stream Quality:
We guarantee 99.9% uptime for our Cloud Stream Servers. Prior notice will be given for scheduled maintenance.

Equipment Rental

1. Rental Duration:
Rental duration is calculated on a 24-hour basis. Additional hourly charges apply for late returns.

2. Liability & Damage:
The client assumes full responsibility for the safety of the equipment from pickup to return. In case of damage or loss, the client is liable to pay the current market value of the equipment.

3. Verification Documents:
A valid National Identity Card (NIC) or Passport must be presented upon picking up the equipment.

Crew Hiring

1. Working Hours:
Standard working hours for a crew member are 8 hours per day. Overtime rates apply for each additional hour.

2. Food & Transport:
For events outside Pelmadulla town, the client must provide transport and meals for the crew.

Surprise Event Organizing

1. Planning & Scheduling:
Plans and event details must be finalized at least 5 days prior to the event. Major changes made after that may incur additional fees.

2. Weather Conditions:
If an outdoor event is disrupted due to weather conditions, it is the client's responsibility to arrange an alternative indoor venue.
